At Arizona Aussies, our passion goes far beyond breeding beautiful dogs — we are deeply committed to raising healthy, emotionally balanced Mini and Toy Australian Shepherds that become lifelong companions for their families. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, our program is built on intentional breeding, responsible practices, and genuine love for the breed.
Our dogs are raised directly inside our home as part of our family, where they are surrounded by daily interaction, structure, enrichment, and affection from the very beginning.
OUR STORY
How Arizona Aussies Began
Our love for Australian Shepherds started when I got my very first Mini Aussie at just 17 years old. From that moment on, I completely fell in love with the breed — their intelligence, loyalty, and the deep connection they build with their families.
Fast forward to 2018, when my husband and I decided to bring home a puppy together. Then came a second, third, and eventually our passion for the breed grew into something much bigger than we ever expected. What started as simply wanting wonderful pets for ourselves slowly turned into a deep passion for responsible breeding, genetics, and preserving the amazing qualities of the Australian Shepherd breed.
That passion eventually became Arizona Aussies.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Raised With Intention
We believe every breeding decision matters.
From selecting parent pairings to early puppy development, every part of our program is approached thoughtfully and carefully. We prioritize genetics, temperament, health, confidence, and socialization to help produce well-rounded companions that transition smoothly into family life.
Our puppies are never raised in isolation. They grow up inside our home alongside our children where they experience everyday sounds, routines, handling, and affection from day one.

Our puppies are raised inside our home — not in kennels — where they experience everyday life, sounds, children, and hands-on care from the start.
ENS & ESI Puppy Culture
We implement ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction), and Puppy Culture principles to support confidence, adaptability, and emotional development.

Started Potty & Kennel Training
Before going home, puppies are introduced to kennel routines and early potty training foundations to help create a smoother transition into family life.
Our goal is to give every puppy the best possible start before they ever leave our home.

We are deeply committed to the wellbeing of every dog we produce, which is why we require contracts with a strict no-shelter policy. Every puppy we raise is considered part of our extended family, and we are always here to support our families throughout their journey.
